We are hyped about the opening of @swirl_e10 next We are hyped about the opening of @swirl_e10 next week! It is a new bar from our friends at @archdeli_e11 and they are throwing open their doors next Friday 29th November!!!

Best of all they have asked us to hook them up with some snacks for their opening night. We are very chuffed to have been asked and feeling the inspiration from our recent Venice trip are going with a cichetti style offering (though in the Partisan style).

They will be opening from 5pm on Friday 29th November and are offering a free glass of bubbly/half pint to the first 50 people through the door. They are going to have a superb selection of beers and wines and good times and for one night only, Partisan curated snacks. If you can't make that evening then it's still worth getting down from 1pm to 10/11pm on Saturday and Sunday 30th and 31st - no Partisan snacks but still an excess of good beer, good wine and good times ๐Ÿ˜‹

We have a busy couple of months coming up with various non Partisan related activities so our next full popup will not be until February (when we return to the fabulous @archdeli_e11).

While we may be up for a collab or something if someone has an idea and wants to get in touch but a full popup will not be possible. 

We are booking up into 2025 now so please drop us a line if you have a space, an idea or just a Partisan shaped hole in your schedule x

We are back at @archdeli_e11 for one day only on 27th October 12pm to 6pm. Bookings are now open - link is in the bio.

We had an amazing time in Leytonstone in August with a great turnout and are hoping to see some of you all again.

We're going to bring the grill again but with more of an Autumnal vibes this time around.

Focus, as always for us, is on great ingredients that haven't been too messed about with, we have:
Pembrokeshire seaweed and crab from @car_y_mor,  excellent charcuterie from @cobblelanecured, banging veggies as always from @shrub.london , great Italian produce via @lasovranaukltd and meat and cheese from the awesome @aubreyallenbutchers ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Working on the menu at the moment and we have decided to bring back a dish from our very first popup....

The Blythburgh Pork from @aubreyallenbutchers is one of my favourite products that I have gotten to work with over the past 3 or so years at @bru.tto (if you have had the Pork Tonnata at Brutto then you have tasted it!) and I knew immediately that I wanted to use it with Partisan.

We marinade it in a load of rosemary and garlic and then simply roast it, serving with a side salad of Italian bitter leaves dressed in a punchy vinaigrette that includes the Pork fat from the roasting pan.

Thank you to everyone that came out and made it two very memorable days in the Partisan story!

We loved our time at @archdeli_e11 and both feel a little sad that it was such a brief period working together (let's do it again someday!).

And today?

Well, we are in a period of recovery after an extremely hectic few days, but that hasn't stopped us from having a meeting about and continuing our planning for our next popup...... *drumroll* 

We will be at @theroseldn for two Sundays in a row on the 25th August and 1st September and cannot wait to bring you a whole new variation to the Partisan formula. Bookings will open soon. Watch this space!

Bang in season and on the menu this coming weekend at @archdeli_e11 simply dressed with good olive oil, salt, pepper and anchovies ๐Ÿ˜‹
One of my (Alan) favourite things about doing this One of my (Alan) favourite things about doing this Partisan project is the flexibility that I have. Menus are written around the produce and the space and I can change them to match.

This morning I was struck by a pot of honey (not literally, I'm fine, thanks for asking) and realised that I was missing a trick with the menu for @archdeli_e11 ... 

At our popup at @bru.tto this chargrilled peach with yoghurt and honey went down an absolute storm. It's a very Partisan dish, simple flavours, great produce that hasn't been messed about with too much. I hadn't included it on the new menu but then I saw the pot of honey and my thought process went something like this:
"Oh yeah, I remember that I liked that peach dish"
"I'm using a barbecue this coming weekend"
"BARBECUED PEACHES ARE AMAZING!!!!"

Anyway... overly long story/post short, the peaches are on the menu this coming weekend because they are perfect for this popup.

I have taken off the Drunken Stitchelton dish that I was going to do but don't worry, it will be back at a future popup when it is more suitable. Maybe I'll tell the story about that particular combination which was inspired by a visit to the now sadly missed Pappagallo restaurant in Bologna but that's a story for another day.
